You're right about the boat. I always thought Rod "rode" in on the thing..ya know by the tides or something. Then my 5th grade friend, James Simmons, crushed me with the real story.."its a piece of plywood or something that he walks in...totally fake." I spent the next week watching every moment of every show, to see if my friend was right...and dang it, he was!
I was bummed a bit..not crushed like when you find out Santa's fake..but bummed. I Still never missed a Ramblin Rod show though.
