My grandmother was in the hospital in Portland when I was about 10 yrs old. We walked in and got the most fun thrill of watching the midgets on Portland Wrestling. From there, it became a weekly event for me to watch the show.
I grew to adore Jimmy Snuka (some of my cousins were his neighbors). There was many other Portland Wrestlers I liked.
It did sadden me to find out that Steve Doll and Scott Peterson have both died.
25 years ago, Portland Wrestling did a Bowl-A-Thon against child abuse at Town And Country Bowling Alley in Salem/Keizer, Oregon. I got pictures with some of the wrestlers, but not all of them.
I still have the pictures and autographs.
