Portland Oregon Sports - Excitement In The Air!

Portland Oregon sports range from traditional to the unique. What else would you expect? ;)

Hit up the Rose Garden to see the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers play and then hop over to the Expo Center to catch a game with our local Roller Derby bunch, the Rose City Rollers. Eclectic at it's best! ;)

In Portland, you'll find some of the most rabid sports fans in the nation. Crowds that simply cannot get enough excitement and the Portland Oregon sports teams are more than happy to quench that hunger. Rodeo, basketball, hockey, Nascar racing, professional wrestling, soccer, and on and on.

I'm not a huge sports fans but I've always been a pushover for a white-knuckle Trail Blazer game or a night of entertainment at the Portland Sports Arena (unfortunately, no longer around).

Catch a game of your favorite sport live, on television or broadcast on the radio. Any way you can get your fix, just do it.

• Portland Trail Blazers - Pro basketball is a huge event around these parts.
  
  
• Portland Timbers - The long-time sport of Football is popular around the world and we're no different with our own Portland MLS soccer team, the Portland Timbers.
   
• Portland Winterhawks - Hockey anyone? We got it!
   
• Portland Beavers - The AAA baseball team ended their run in Portland at the end of 2010. They played to enthusiastic baseball fans for over 100 years. Goodbye, Portland Beavers. We're sad to see you go. ;(
   
• Portland LumberJax - The Rose City's professional Lacrosse team ended their run in 2009. Regardless, it's an exciting game to watch.
   
• Rose City Rollers - Yes, we actually have our own Roller Derby teams known as the Rollers. This is just plain fun!
   
• Portland Shockwave - Portland's Professional Women's Football team. These gals play full-contact, hard-hitting football! Holy cow!!
   
• Portland Wrestling - Although it all came to a sad end in the 90s, Portland Professional Wrestling still holds a special place in the hearts of many fans.
