Coffee Villa is a terrific coffee shop in Vancouver, WA and is one of my favorite haunts.
Since I work from home, there's often times that I get cabin fever and, rather than turning into Jack Nicholson in "The Shining", I opt for a comfortable coffee shop with free WiFi to work out of. It helps me focus and gets me out of the house.
A great day starts with grabbing my Google Chromebook for an early morning, settling in at a table with a mocha, and working on writing one of my books or on my web sites.
I've been darkening the doorstep of Coffee Villa since they first opened in 2010. They seem to like my company, especially when I shot an episode of VidBlogger Nation (a cable show I was in) here. I quickly became one of their adopted children. ;)
There are many Vancouver, WA coffee shops around me here in the Orchards area, but this place has a charm that really attracts me. When I feel welcome somewhere I visit, I usually go back over over again.
They have a large, living-room like sitting area with comfy chairs, tables, and an electric fireplace for ambiance. This makes it a perfect place for meetings, Bible studies, or simply hanging out with a friend over coffee.
Speaking of which, they have a full menu of tasty coffee drinks. A few of my favorites are their White Raspberry Mocha, Cinnamon Sugar Latte, and Chocolate Mint Frappe. There's nothing like wrapping myself around a hot mug of tasty goodness on a cold Pacific NW day. Bundled up with a good book on my Kindle, I'm in a small corner of Heaven ;)
They also pour the best decaf drip I've ever had. Yes, that surprised me, too! You wouldn't think that a regular decaf would be something to rave about, but it really is. They also put out a wide selection of specialty drinks celebrating the holidays when they roll around.
Their 100% whey protein shakes and fresh-fruit smoothies are a huge hit with the health-conscience patrons and those that come in from 24-Hour Fitness next door.
The breakfast and lunch menu includes filling sandwiches that are made in-house every day, organic oatmeals for breakfast, bagels, donuts, and a lot more goodies. Bottled water, juices, and pop are also available.
If you're in a hurry, there is a drive-thru for your convenience that will get you on your way in no time flat.
When you're in the area, stop in for a coffee and a chat. I'd love to meet you. ;)
