I have been to Brazil Grill in downtown Portland, OR a couple of times.
The first time I took my wife for our anniversary. We went on a Saturday evening, and it was very busy. Normally, you would wait a while for a table, but since we had reservations, we were seated without delay.
The restaurant itself is very nice, and well-suited for celebrations like an anniversary, birthday, etc. It's not overly fancy, but it is nice.
The second time was for a birthday, on a Tuesday night. If other weeknights are anything like that day, the restaurant is not very busy, so reservations are probably not as critical as on weekends.
The food at Brazil is great! I love me some meat, and there is no shortage of it there. They keep bringing it to you until you make them stop! The salad bar is OK, but the meat selections are the real draw. You can try everything from shrimp, sausages, ham, chicken, lamb, pork, and several kinds of steak.
The price for this is pretty reasonable, considering you can eat as much as you want. Dinners are just over $30, so it's probably not somewhere you are going to eat every night, but once in a while is not too bad.
All in all, I think Brazil Grill is a great place to experience, and if you haven't tried it, it is well worth a visit. Maybe I will see you there!!!
